The Andean Community (CAN), consisting of Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador y Peru, promotes regional integration with a clear purpose: to improve the quality of life of more than 114 million Andean citizens. The General Secretariat promotes initiatives in trade, infrastructure, social affairs and, of course, tourism, creating opportunities that benefit local communities and connect travelers with unique experiences.

In the 2021-2022 period, under the Pro Tempore Presidency of Ecuador, an innovative bet was born: Andean Roads, a project designed to reactivate tourism after the pandemic and contribute to its recovery. Coordinated by the Ad Hoc Group on Tourism, this initiative is presented as the invitation letter to show the world the tourist wealth of the Andean countries.

Caminos Andinos seeks to position the region as an attractive attraction multidestination tourism, The goal is to make visible and position the offer of its Member Countries, combining renowned destinations with little-explored treasures. The result is a diversified, sustainable and authentic tourism proposal, where every trip connects the visitor with Andean nature, culture and gastronomy.
